Zen Dog is perfectly equipped for a short stay self catering holiday with a difference. She's what's known as a "coded charter boat" which means she is inspected annually for safety and is fully insured for guests. She sleeps 4 in 2 cabins. The master cabin has a king sized bed, smart TV and ensuite access to the wet room shared with 2nd cabin with WC, shower and basin. The 2nd cabin has a smart TV, and either twin beds or a near king sized bed (we'll ask you what you want after booking). There's a saloon sitting area with a 32" smart TV, galley kitchen with microwave, kettle and Dolce Gusto Coffee machine. There are no cooking facilities on Zen Dog but who needs them when Lymington's restaurants are so close by - particularly the Haven's own excellent restaurant and bar. There's warm air central heating and a portable air con unit. There's 240v electric sockets and a hair dryer. Upstairs, the roof slides electrically to open up the boat to the sun. There are 2 separate seating areas both with tables, the rear canvas covers roll up and the rear table drops to form a sunbed. There's another sunbed on the front deck.

Lymington Yacht Haven offers free parking and has excellent 5-star showers. Lymington town with its excellent facilities, shops and restaurants is a 15-20min walk along the river. Lymington open air swimming baths (check opening times) are a short stroll away along a path. The Yacht Haven is at the start of a 5-mile waterside sea-wall nature trail - perfect for walking or cycling. There are pleasure boat trips from the Quay and the Isle of Wight ferry leaves from the other side of town.

SWC Cycling Retreats are designed to offer relaxation time away from the saddle with activities such as wine, cheese and olive oil tastings, cookery classes or a cultural visit to a nearby city. Every day you will have the afternoon to relax around the pool and villa prior to dinner or maps can be provided should you wish to venture out on the bike once more.

Would I be able to bring a friend who doesn't cycle?
Yes, friends, husbands, wives, partners are all welcome. There are a range of activities for them to undertake while you are out cycling. The SWC Retreat team will be on hand to give advice on things to do and places to go for you and any non cycling guests.
